ABOUT THE 2018 CONFERENCE/ Love in Hard Places
Jenny Salt speaks on the book of Ruth
The story of the book of Ruth begins at a time when there was no king in Israel, on a day when there was no bread in Bethlehem and with a family of bitter experience and no hope.
At first glance, the focus of the book is on Naomi, a widow from Bethlehem; Ruth, a young widow in Moab; and Boaz, a kinsman-redeemer.
But in a more profound way, the focus is on the steadfast love of the LORD that never ceases….for all those who take refuge under his wings (Ruth 2:12).
The message of this book echoes throughout Scripture and takes us all the way to the Lord Jesus, our Redeemer and King.
We are running the main conference on Saturday (three talks) but with the option of a shorter Friday evening event (two talks) as an alternative. So please come along and join us on either Friday 12th or Saturday 13th October to hear Jenny!
