Other than Revelation, Hebrews is the most difficult New Testament book to understand clearly. It has often been said that in order to do so the reader must have a pretty thorough knowledge of the Old Testament, and especially of Leviticus. Best of all, every page is full of Christ and ‘the grace of God that brings salvation’ (Titus 2:11).
