The Scriptures are replete with occasions when God spoke with those who took time to wait on Him. He is the speaking God and He will speak with you. He does not speak to us through burning bushes in the countryside or a thunderous voice from the heavens. We can meet with Him in His Word. Sadly, we live in a pressurised world where the things that matter most are often pushed aside, especially time with God. We all need to take time to clear the debris of trivial pursuits that clutter up our lives and make room for time with Him, time to meditate on His Word. This book alternates personal meditations on God’s Word and life-long reflections of God’s work; what God says to our hearts and how God works through our lives. My prayer is that these devotional thoughts and personal anecdotes will bless many people just as the Lord has blessed us.
