“Cruise Ship or Lifeboat?” is a resource for individual Christians, Bible Study Groups or church leaders to use for discussion, with a view of encouraging fresh enthusiasm for the Gospel in the context of todays “me culture.” When the pressure is on to dilute the message of Jesus and reinterpret Scripture to accommodate changing standards within society, such an action can only lead the church to lose its cutting edge and diminish its effectiveness.

The Church must never forget that it has been entrusted with a message that no other organisation or institution has been mandated to promote.
