In our modern world, where a few hours on an aircraft can take us to the other side of our planet, it is hard to imagine the pioneering spirit of those men, women and children in the 17th Century who set sail in creaky ships for the New World of America. The motivation for many was the vision of an uninhibited walk with Christ in a society founded on the principles of Scripture. The vision was harder to make into reality than they expected, but their efforts were not without fruit and their story still thrills and surprises in equal measure.
