The Westminster Confession of Faith is the greatest of all the creeds of the Christian Church. “As far as I am able to judge, the Christian world, since the days of the Apostles, had never a Synod of more excellent divines than this,” referring to the godly men who drew up the Confession and the documents associated with it. So said one of their contemporaries, who recognised their godliness and ability.
This is the original 1647 edition. For this printing the publishers have taken great pains to ensure that the misprints of previous printings have been corrected.
